Fahrenheit Dance Studios are competition dance schools around the country; we dance in competitions within the UDO (United Dance Organisation).  These competitions are held all over the country with the World Championships in The Winter Gardens, Blackpool every August.
Fahrenheit dance Studios have now been running for about 7 years and are going from strength to strength, Fahrenheit Llanelli is the newest Fahrenheit School to have open and all students there will be competing in their very first competition on Sunday 21st June at Reading.
Some of the competitions held each year are:-
The British Championships in Pontins every February
The South East Championships in Sussex every March
The Southern championships in Reading every June
The World Championships in Blackpool every August and
The Welsh Championships in Newport every November.
As well as being involved in competitions we also take part in fund raising, charity events, shows and student of the year awards ceremonies.
There are currently around 40 students at Llanelli but we will be continuing to audition new students whilst training the students we now have.  Fahrenheit schools are run by having teams, these teams run with a minimum of 12 per team and train for at least 2 hours per week.  These teams then compete at competition level and have the opportunity to win fantastic prizes within the UDO.  These prizes consist of; Cash, iPods, DVD players, holidays etc.
The teams we have at the moment are aged from 10 years to 17 years, we are, however, going to be looking for a new team of under 10 dancers, auditions will be held for these very soon.
Being part of Fahrenheit is hard work but lots and lots of fun; it gives children and young people a chance to meet new friends, both male and female.
We have recently changed venue at Llanelli and are now training every Sunday at the new centre opened in Llangennech.  This is a wonderful new venue and is a great place for us to train.
We also run open classes in street dance for those who would like to come along and learn this form of dance but not necessarily compete; it is a great activity for fun, fitness and also to learn one of the newest forms of dance around!!

If you would like any further any information regarding these classes please contact me on 07830 793 098.
