The International Folk Dance Concert and Twmpath held on Friday 10th July 2009 was a great success.
The dancers entertained the Llangennech school children in the afternoon. This was followed by a procession through the village, which ended at the Bridge End Inn. There the visiting groups were our guests and enjoyed a fine meal.
In the evening John Roberts was Master of Ceremonies and he introduced groups from Karelia, Sweden, Denmark and Wales. There was also an eloquent flamenco dancing display by Nia Lowe.
